Camp Discovery was created to give those with serious illness quality outdoor experiences that are often taken for granted by their peers. Fun, adventure, camaraderie, independence, confidence, and personal growth are some of the benefits that occur when children, teens and adults spend time enjoying the magic of Mother Nature. By offering cost free camps to participants, Camp Discovery is available to an ever growing number of children, teens and adults. Camp Discovery is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation and is operated with a part-time paid Executive Director and a volunteer Board. Summer camps are conducted using partnerships with licensed outfitters and a volunteer staff. Camp Discovery receives many generous monetary and in-kind donations.
